Big Ten baseball.
Ohio State Baseball has represented the Scarlet & Gray since 1881, building a proud tradition of excellence, competition, and championship baseball in Columbus. Competing in the Big Ten Conference and playing at historic Bill Davis Stadium, the Buckeyes have established themselves as one of the most recognizable programs in college baseball. Ohio State captured the 1966 NCAA National Championship and has continued to compete for conference titles and postseason appearances throughout its history. Over the years, the program has developed dozens of professional players while helping generations of student-athletes grow both on and off the field. With a passionate fan base, a tradition-rich university, and a commitment to competing at the highest level, Ohio State Baseball continues to proudly represent the Scarlet & Gray.

Justin Haire
Head Coach.
Justin Haire is the head coach of Ohio State Baseball and brings a proven track record of winning, player development, and building championship-caliber programs. In his second season in Columbus in 2026, Haire led the Buckeyes to a 30-25 overall record and an 18-12 mark in Big Ten play, producing the program’s largest year-over-year win improvement in more than 30 years. The season included historic series sweeps of Nebraska and Michigan in Ann Arbor, nine series victories, 78 home runs, and a trip to the Big Ten Tournament. Haire came to Ohio State after 10 seasons as the head coach at Campbell, where he won 317 games, captured five consecutive Big South regular-season championships, won four conference tournament titles, and made five NCAA Regional appearances.
